Books and Boats is an English translation of a long-lost classic in Sino-Japanese relations and the importation of Chinese books to Japan. Detailed charts, tables, old photos of Chinese junks and bi-lingual Glossary were some of the challenges in designing this book for Merwin Asia publishers.
